For Sale:  Currently on long-term loan in a special situation with a special young man.  He and his family adore Sweetie who is enjoying the extra  attention.  We are *thrilled* about Sweetie's placement. 

Sweetie is the perfect pony for this situation, and she is a sterling testament to the POA breed.

Sweetie's Story:

When we found out that Star Bar's first foal was for sale, we were immediately interested in her for a mount for our children.  She had been ridden quite a bit, but not by young children, so we sent her for 60+ days of professional refresher courses and for riding lessons for our young daughters on her. 

Sweetie has turned out to be a wonderful mare for the girls.  

It is very interesting to see how similar--and how different--the two half-sisters are.  We love them both, and we are very glad we have been owned by both mares.

Sweetie was shown locally two years ago and did well for a rider's first time in a show.  With a more seasoned rider, she brought several great placings and Sweetie loved every minute.  

She also does great on the trail.  She's been ridden extensively on trails, over highway bridges and in crowds. 

Only in her face does she show her age--her temperament welcomes love with kindness and gentleness.  She recently had a check-up and is exceptionally healthy.  She has strong teeth, hard hooves and with no health problems.

Sweetie lives up to her name, and she deserves her own person to love, and I'm willing to give her that if that person comes along.

We are *thrilled* that that person has taken her home and is loving her!!
