Goals, War, and Breeding
Setting Goals: 2007! Wow. It seems that my life is flying by me. So much I've done and so much more I wish to accomplish. Make lists, make goals and get started...but most importantly, get it finished!
The Bush War: The "war" is over. As a friend of mine said, the war was over when the US Military overthrew the Iraqi government. Now we have an occupation. When will Bush realize that this isn't something that we will win? So much, too much like Vietnam and Korea from what I see... .
Our military fighting over there: That said, as much as I detest what Bush has done and continues to do, my thoughts, prayers and thanks go to the men and women in our military.
A dear friend of mine, Sue Martin of Stonelake Morgans in Lexington, Georgia, found out recently that her brother will be doing another tour in Iraq. Of course, our thoughts and prayers, not just for him and his immediate family, but also his friends, his family and anyone who loves him, go out and we wish for light, love and peace... .
And for our friend Barbara Fink, as she fights her own battles, her son fights in the military. The same light, love and peace to them as well.
EF:JMARE STALLION SERVICE AUCTION: I am proud and honoured to be on the Board of Directors for the EF:JMARE and to have donated a breeding to our Morgan grey stallion, Hearth's Mercury Rising, to contribute to such a worthy cause. I highly recommend you consider the incredible stallions--from many different bloodlines and colors--in the auction in planning for your 2008 foal!

A request for prayers, positive thoughts and candles for the following people:
Barbara Fink of Dreamcatcher Morgans. Barb is beloved by so many people all over the US and Canada, and we want her to know that no matter what happens, she and her wonderful family are in our hearts.
Elizabeth and Burtle Jernigan They are fantastically wonderful people who would gladly give you the shirt off their backs, food in your stomach and any assistance they could.
Teri With hope that everything goes well with her brother. She is in our thoughts... .
Love, light and peace,
Thanks for reading,
Tori
