What's in a name?

A bright, bold colt, Sam lives up to his name--Winchester and Colt guns. We find ourselves calling him "a pistol" quite frequently, and, man, is he! Inquisitive, Sam isn't afraid of anything.

Living up the the reputation of the his illustrious ancestor, UVM Flash, who appears twice in his pedigree, Sam has an exquisite head, a laid back shoulder and a strong, long hip combined with the "flash" that Flash was known for.

Temperament:

"Sam", after Samuel Colt best known for his Colt revolvers, started small, but quickly reached the size of his much taller half brother, Draconia Taliesin.

And can he trot!! Just like his half siblings and his sire, Sam moves like a dream. I absolutely love watching Freddie's foals float through the pasture. Soon I will be getting video to put on YouTube of their trotting. You will love it! <G>
